- This depends on budget - but typically a pen style will cost around 25.00 and a larger tank and battery from around 40.00.
Look here for all our starter kits - Who are we?
- Prime Vapour are a small Scottish e-liquid manufacturer based in East Kilbride South Lanarkshire, we also have several stores located Throughout central Scotland.
- Whats in your E-liquids?
- Our liquids are manufactured using USP grade Propylene Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerin (VG), pharmaceutical grade nicotine and flavourings imported from all over the world.
- What is Propylene Glycol (PG)
- Propylene Glycol (PG) is an organic compound which comes from Propylene Oxide. It is commonly used in food production (as a preservative) and the UK medical industry and can be found in asthma inhalers. It's a colourless almost odourless liquid which is slightly sweet in taste. It is primarily used as a "base" ingredient in e-liquids and has a lower viscosity than vegetable glycerine.
- What is Vegetable Glycerin (VG)
- Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is a naturally occurring liquid, derived from plant oils, it's a sweet colourless liquid which is used in the food industry as a sweetener & thickener. Like PG, VG is also used as a base in e-liquids the key benefit of using Vegetable Glycerin over Propylene Glycol is that VG has a higher viscosity which means it produces thicker vapour which many vapers prefer. It also delivers less of a throat hit when vaped.
- What about Nicotine?
- Nicotine is an naturally occurring chemical found in tobacco. it can also can be found in small amounts in some fruits & vegetables! It is used in e-liquids to mimic the stimulant process of smoking without many of the associated health risks and to aid combating the withdrawal effects of tobacco.
- What Flavourings are used?
- We use only the highest quality flavourings which we import from the USA and Europe. None of the flavours we use contain Diacetyl Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl. They do not contain alcohol, sugars, protein, animal ingredients of any kind, preservatives or caffeine.
- Do the e-liquids need steeping?
- Our liquids are usually pre-steeped, however there are occasions when the demand is higher than our stock levels we have to ship freshly made batches if this is the case we will let you know.
- What PG/VG ratio is your liquid?
- We offer two different VG/PG ratios our 12mg, 18mg are 50/50, 3mg, 6mg are 80/20. We have found these to be the optimum ratios for both flavour and vapour production on the devices they are most likely to used in.
- Why has my e-liquid has Changed colour?
- E-Liquids change colour due to oxygenation, extreme temperature changes, or exposure to sunlight. This is a harmless process that does not affect the safety, vape-ability, or quality of your product.
- Mouth to lung or Direct to Lung?
- You will often hear two terms associated with vaping Mouth to Lung (MTL) and Direct to lung (DTL) these terms simply refer to the way you inhale the vapour.
- Mouth to Lung Vaping (MTL)?
- When you vape mouth to lung style you inhale the vapour into your mouth and hold it there before inhaling it into your lungs. This style of vaping closely resembles smoking because when you smoke a cigarette you take a hard drag and gather the smoke in your mouth before inhaling it completely into your lungs. Most basic or starter e-cigarettes use a Mouth to Lung vaping style to mimic tobacco cigarettes.
- What is Direct to lung vaping (DTL)
- Direct to lung (DTL) or Straight to lung vaping is when you breathe the vapour directly into your lungs without pausing to gather it in your mouth first It's more like when you breath air in normally because of the large quantities of vapour generated you don't have to gather it your mouth first. Due to the amount of vapour inhaled mouth to lung vapers usually find they require a lower nicotine level e-liquid such as a 3mg or 6mg.
- What is Sub-Ohm Vaping?
- Sub-Ohm vaping is when a device has an atomizer coil with a resistance of less than one ohm installed. Lowering the coils resistance means we can increase the wattage the device is powered at which results in an increase in vapour production and flavor.
